Specializations
Students in the Post-Masters Certificate in Counselling program may choose from one of the following specializations. Students complete four courses in their area of specialization.
Areas of Specialization:
- Post-Masters Certificate in Counselling: Counselling Psychology
- Post-Masters Certificate in Counselling: Career Counselling
For people with a Master's degree, the Art Therapy Specialization can be completed directly through the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. This 15-month program, the Advanced Diploma, has been offered since the summer of 2002 and is delivered in a distance learning model. Please see the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute website.
Additional areas of specialization will be added over time. The next area to be developed will be a specialization in Counselling Women.
Students will graduate with a degree that indicates the area of specialization, such as a Post-Masters Certificate in Counselling: Career Counselling.
