Welcome to the program website for the Graduate Centre for Applied Psychology (GCAP), Athabasca University. We are pleased to offer high-quality graduate programs, including a Post-Graduate Certificate in Counselling, a Master of Counselling, and a Post-Masters Certificate in Counselling. These programs are designed to prepare graduates for professional practice as counsellors or psychologists.
We are part of the Campus Alberta Applied Psychology (CAAP): Counselling Initiative, a consortium of graduate programs in counselling and applied psychology offered by several universities within the Province of Alberta.
