Thank you for your interest in the Master of Counselling (MC) program.

Please review the program description under Program Information before you begin the application process. You will be required to indicate the Area of Specialization you wish to pursue upon application to the program. The following program specializations are currently open:

By applying to this program, you are agreeing to adhere to the principles outlined in this statement and to the codes of ethics of the Canadian Counselling Association and the Canadian Psychological Association. Failure to adhere to these principles will be considered non-academic misconduct and may result in withdrawal from the program.

The application deadline is March 1. An $80 program application fee is required before any components of your application are processed.

Successful applicants will begin their program the following September. You will be notified by the end of April about the decision of the selection committee. There are no appeals to admissions decisions. All successful applicants must pay a $200 program admission fee upon confirmation of intent to participate in the program and must be available to participate in a five-week online program orientation beginning the last week of June.

Applications are available online and must be submitted electronically, using the online forms provided. Applications will not be accepted by mail or fax. In addition to the online application, you must submit a Hardcopy Application Materials Package (with transcripts and other applicable documents). Please carefully review the entrance requirements and other background information before beginning the steps in the application process.

Please do NOT contact our office by phone to track receipt of application materials. As materials arrive at our office, your application file will be updated (usually within 2 business days). You will be able to view the status of your application online at any time. To avoid the possibility of not knowing whether your materials have arrived in our office by the application deadline, please ensure that materials are submitted as early as possible.
